Operational Protection — Till, Stock & Restricted Zone Advisories

Advisory review markers for unusual till interactions, cellar stock corridor movement and out-of-pattern behaviour.

Responsible Advisory Language Policy: All security and till notifications are presented as “possible”, “unusual pattern” or “requires discreet manager review”. The system supports human oversight and never makes automated accusations.

Responsible Design & UK Hospitality Privacy Principles
Design principles
  • Anonymous Token Tracking Only: Entities are tracked temporarily as bounding coordinates (e.g. Table 6 Party, Staff 1). No biometric facial templates are captured or stored.
  • Hospitality Support First: Primary goal is helping staff spot guests ready to order, reducing bar wait times and supporting busy floor zones.
  • Human-in-the-Loop Oversight: Till and stock corridor flags are advisory review markers for duty managers — never automated disciplinary judgements.
  • Clear Signage & Retention: Deployment would need agreed notices, access controls and retention rules. This demo processes no live footage.
How Does the System Decide When to Prompt?
Transparent Logic
1. Service Prompts: Triggered when object detection sees empty/finished glassware on an occupied table and zero staff bounding-box intersection for longer than the configured Reorder Prompt Delay.
2. Queue Alerts: Triggered when anonymous person count within the Bar Counter service polygon exceeds the Queue Alert Threshold for more than 45 seconds.
3. Till & Stock Reviews: Triggered when till drawer state or cellar corridor motion occurs without a matching service context or staff runner schedule.
